Is Ecco Considered A Cheap Brand?

Ecco founded in 1963, is a Danish shoemaker and retailer. Apart from the production of footwear, the brand also produces leathers and other shoe accessories. Judging by the price in stores, Ecco isn’t a cheap brand.

Ecco leather products are from Yaks Ox-hide – a thick material with exceptional tensile strength. Judging by the quality of its products, their prices are reasonable.

Where are Ecco made?

Ecco had its first production facility in Bredebro, Denmark, in 1963. However, the shoe brand has upgraded, now having factories in about six different locations worldwide.

Today, about 98% of Ecco products are from its factories in Portugal, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Slovakia, and Vietnam. Ecco products are available in 99 countries with over 2000 Ecco stores and 14000 sales points.
